What is Sports Motivation?

Motivation is the foundation for accomplishment. Without determination and desire to improve your sports performance, all other mental factors, confidence, focus, intensity, and emotions, are meaningless.Motivation is simply the ability to initiate and persist at a given task. 

Motivation is simply the ability to initiate and persist at a given task. 

There are many causes and variants as to why a person becomes less motivated in their sport including; a losing streak, a mental block, injury and outside factors affecting performance.
